I swear by Elance - you can find so many graphic designers on there, see their portfolios, and ask them to bid on a project. It's one of my favorite sites.
I chose 99designs.com People bid for your design. I paid a low price, and got foriegners and college students working hard fora week trying to draw a logo. all for $125 plus $40 for the auction fee.the logo I picked: www.yummythaicooking.com (on top)
