Questions

Mortgage Broker

We're considering refinancing our mortgage. Anyone have a good, not-so-sleazy broker?

Lauren, Denize Lawrence in Burlingame is excellent -- she helped Lonnie & Emilie with their mortgage, and then helped us when we bought our house... both to get our original mortgage and then do a re-fi when rates hit historic lows for a couple days.

I've moved quite a bit and have refi'd several times through Darren Seliga in Santa Rosa. He's very professional and timely with his responses and is able to get everything done over the phone. Every time I've checked his rates he's always been competitive. He's been in business for 15 years. I highly recommend him.

We've stuck with Wells Fargo past couple times. David's pretty nice and takes a lot of time to answer questions. He sounds a bit overwhelmed given everybody's refinancing at once, but still pretty good:

Thanks Roy/Brett - I've been thinking about refi'ing a property in CA, but my bank doesn't have anything better to fofer. Will give Darren a try.

wow - not sure why my review of Pandora showed up in this string ... is that a bug? or am I lame? (don't answer that...)

We still use DeNize. She is very good. Knowledgeable, responsive and turnkey - never feel like we have to chase her.
