I'm not sick very often, but when I am, theraflu seems to help.I'm not sure if it is kid friendly but, it works for me. Maybe they make a childrens version? If not, there is always 'tussin
Well, things we do are: humidifier, warm baths in a steamy room, mentholatum (mostly so that we're doing something), and a teaspon of honey (again, i think this is placebo and just makes us look like we're trying to help).Honestly, we never completely fix the problem. Someone usually loses some sleep. If I have a really miserable kid who can't sleep, I get up and nod through a middle-of-the-night hot bath and this usually gets everyone to sleep through until morning. Hope you're all well and this is an academic question! :)
oh, I forgot about mentholatum, we will definitely give that a try. as for honey, we bought an 11$ bottle of buckwheat honey based on some "medical" studies. not sure if it helps though...
Is this what you are talking about?http://www.amazon.com/Boiron-Homeopathic-Medicine-Bryonia-80-Count/dp/B000FTYJUS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1215751966&sr=8-4
yeah - you can pick it up at whole foods --phosphorus is another good one. stick 1 or 2 pellets(it will tell you more but you don't need them) under the tongue or let it disolve in a cup of water. taste like candy - but do not chew.
