Tiffany & Co is not as scary as it appears. Great for a man's wedding band. For the female, depends how much you want to spend. But their "low-end" stuff (< 1 CT) is worth it. Nothing is more classic (and endearing to a woman's heart) than the light blue box. If anything, go in and pick their brains. You'll be in a better position if you choose to go elsewhere.
Vardy's--if you want diamonds in it. They do outstanding work, custom as well. Probably a little bit on the higher end, but well worth it as their service is great and they are trustworthy.
