Pets Shedding

What is the remedy for shedding pets??? My dog sheds even after I brush her with the furminator.

every morning i have a very important talk with our dog, telling him that it is about time that he learns how to sweep, and that it is not enough that he just loves and cares, he has to do his share around the house.

it hasn't taken yet.

I don't remember any particular remedy for pet shedding, but I do advise keeping a bottle of the stuff below around

this pretty much got rid of anything my dog could conjure up - and believe me, it could get pretty impressive!

I hear there is some sort of powder you can add to your dog's food that will make her stop shedding, but that sounds like a potentially unhealthy tactic to me and I won't use it on my dog. (But I have heard of at least one vet who recommends it.)

My tactics:
- brush dog often
- bought a roomba to pick up dog hair off the floor--works great on wood floors!

Small-star-onSmall-star-onSmall-star-onSmall-star-onSmall-star-off  Roomba 415: actually works for $200!

I bought a Roomba 415 at Target for $200, thinking: if it actually works to pick up dog hair off our wood floors, it's worth $200. If it doesn't, I'll return it and get my money back.

Well, the damn thing actually works pretty well! It takes maybe 40 minutes to clean a room, because it bounces around semi-randomly and it might even have to go over a spot twice before getting it really clean. But you can just start the thing and then go for a walk, so who cares if it takes a while?

It wouldn't be what I spent my $200 on if I only had $200 to my name, but given my comfortable limousine-liberal existence it was a worthwhile expenditure.
