No fuss, no stove, no whistling. Just fill with water and turn it on - it chimes in a couple of minutes with boiling hot water inside.

We own the exact same one... works great, though it did contribute to more than a few overloaded circuits at our last house.

This is a different brand. We have the Philips one.
