Basically, it just works, which is all you really want from a KVM switch anyway. But apparently that's not always so easy to find -- I first tried a chaper TrendNet KVM switch and it just didn't work, so I returned it.

Another few benefits of the IOGear switch: (a) no extra power supply and (b) all the needed wires are already attached, so even less setup time.
