Clapton
Clapton's autobiography is pretty interesting. Many good stories about his escapades with various artists from the 60's and 70's. Also recounts his legendary battles with alcohol and his efforts at sobriety, the death of his son for whom "Tears in Heaven" is written, and his latest status. I found it difficult to read about his open pursuit of his friend's (George Harrison's) wife Patti Boyd, and him essentially breaking up their marriage. Of course, once Clapton married her, he destroyed his relationship with her as well due to his alcoholism. But, I guess the song Layla would never have been written if it wasn't for her.....
The latter part of the book is a bit slow and self-centered. But overall, it's a light read, and again, the anecdotes are worth the time.
