Jack installed new wood floors in our house, fixed the subfloor to make it level, covered the subfloor to minimize moisture collection under the floors, and installed laminate flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms. The special touches provided by Jack included a custom design around the fireplace, and a custom stain to the wood floor. When I didn't like the first stain color that Jack had applied, he re-sanded and re-stained the entire job. That did cost extra but not excessively so. Jack's rates are a bit higher than most but the quality of his work is amazing, as is his dedication to the job. He never steered us towards something pricey, and he always gave his honest opinion about what would/would not work for our specific situation. And he really listened to what we wanted. He works hard, he takes his time to get things done right, but doesn't waste time.
