Pros:	The techniques really work
Cons:	The book is a bit repetitive

I would say this has been the single most useful book about newborns I've found. Unlike many other guides, the techniques in this book really did work for us.

I am Roy's wife. I completely agree! I loved this book and I found the video tape really engaging too (for new parent's that don't have the concentration for a book, or want a live example of the "swaddle")

By the way, I also like "Happiest Toddler on the Block". They have some interesting techniques for heading off tantrums
