Buck's
Fantastic B-Fasts (will cost you more than a few Bucks...)

| Pros: |
Lots of unique items(croissant french toast), giant portions, interesting decor (clean and family friendly), can call ahead to reserve a spot
|
| Cons: |
Pricey, Long wait at peak times on weekends
|

Do not go to Buck's without: wallet, appetite, and an insulin shot (if you plan on getting any of the desserts or the coffee cake - the coffee cake is a must try). At lunch/dinner - the grilled artichoke is really good and can serve as your entree. I almost hate to out this place because I don't want it to get any more crowded, but I have to say that it is the best place I know for breakfast on the peninsula!

Nice call Karen, I love that place. Great food, great service.
Kind of an interesting "movers and shakers" spot on weekday mornings too - many pitches being made to venture capital, important relationships being developed, etc. Top 3 things overheard at Buck's:
3. Do you know a good CFO?
2. The product is almost ready.
1. If we spend all of this money will you give us some more?
